Architectural Concepts LLP designed this new municipal facility that represents Coatesville’s rich history and vision for the future. Working with in tight buget constraints, the project was sucessfully designed to provide not only for the needs of the present, but also future accommodations for a possible third floor expansion. The new City Hall houses facilities for the police department, a communications room, administrative offices, and City Council chambers. Contemporary yet understated, the use of different masonry sizes and textures gives the building a presence of scale within its neighborhood context and among the public and professional people who use the building.
